PGC provides geospatial support in the form of mapping, data delivery, and GIS analysis to science and logistics communities of the NSF’s arctic and antarctic research programs. Deploying PGC technicians collect ground
control points to calibrate imagery, gather satellite and aerial imagery from a variety of national and international sources, and provide results to science project grantees in GIS data formats, maps, and paper documents. PGC will entail 3 personnel deploying over 5 months.
